UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) is the primary time standard by which the world regulates clocks and time. It is not adjusted for daylight saving time and serves as the basis for time zones worldwide.

The two zodiac date ranges often refer to tropical astrology and sidereal astrology, which are based on different systems:

1. Tropical Zodiac: This is the most commonly used system in Western astrology. It aligns zodiac signs with the seasons, starting with Aries at the spring equinox (around March 21).
2. Sidereal Zodiac: Used in Vedic (Indian) astrology, this system aligns zodiac signs with the constellations as they are positioned in the sky. Because of the Earth's axial precession, the sidereal dates are about 23 degrees behind the tropical system, creating slightly different date ranges.
